Estate/Bequest Gifts
Include UTEP Athletics in your will by leaving the department or a sport program a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder of your estate.
Beneficiary Designations – Name UTEP Athletics as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, IRA or other qualified retirement plan.
Additional Long-Term Gift Options – Consider UTEP Athletics when planning your charitable lead trusts, remainder trusts and gift annuities.
Gift-In-Kind
Individuals and businesses are able to contribute goods and/or services to UTEP Athletics in order to help offset budget expenditures. Examples include advertising, food, beverages, apparel, merchandise, transportation, courtesy cars, hotel accommodations, office supplies, and electronics. Gift-In-Kind is valued at fair market value and must be approved by the Miner Athletic Club prior to claiming for tax purposes/benefits each year. Gift-In-Kind contributions are eligible for most Miner Athletic Club membership benefits.
Courtesy Car Program
The Miner Motors Courtesy Car Program plays an important role in the success of UTEP Athletics. Courtesy cars provide Miner coaches and staff members the opportunity to effectively conduct their outbound engagement while reducing the overall cost of recruiting and travel. Courtesy cars are also a valuable job benefit, helping to attract and retain high performing employees. Members of the Miner Motors Courtesy Car Program receive various benefits.
Endowments
An endowment gift establishes a tradition of support for UTEP Athletics, providing significant impact for years to come. Starting at a minimum of $25,000, endowments can be structured to support scholarships or operational funding for the department or a specific sport program, helping to achieve competitive excellence. In addition to the flexibility that endowments provide, allowing to match donor passion with a specific need, they also offer a tremendous opportunity to honor someone, creating a lasting legacy.
