 Brent Trujillo was named Assistant Director of Development for UTEP Athletics in November of 2021.
 
Trujillo assists with administering fundraising initiatives for the Miner Athletic Club and developing methods to increase philanthropic and outside funding.
 
From 2018 to 2019, Trujillo interned for the United States Olympic Committee and worked as a clubhouse attendant for the Rocky Mountain Vibes (Milwaukee Brewers' Rookie Advanced Affiliate) in Colorado Springs. From August 2019 to May 2021, he worked as an athletics administration intern at Eastern New Mexico University. During his last undergraduate year at ENMU, Trujillo and his wife Jayci founded the Sports Management Society, a club for students interested in a career in sports. The club allows ENMU students to hear from leaders who currently work in the sports industry, obtain internships in different sporting fields, and volunteer opportunities with the NMAA, minor league baseball, and colligate events.
 
A native of Raton, N.M., Trujillo earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration from Eastern New Mexico University in 2021.
