Daniel Anaya joined UTEP Athletics and The Aspire Group in February, 2022 as a Sales & Service Consultant. In June of 2023, Daniel was appointed Director of Development for the Miner Athletic Club.
Since his arrival, Anaya generated over $610,000 in revenue from season ticket sales, renewals, upgrades, group tickets and stand-alone donations. Daniel received a company wide award from The Aspire Group for exemplifying company values and exceeding expectations. Daniel helped increase attendance/revenue for all six ticketed sports with a combined 7,122 group tickets totaling $76,089.
He was born and raised in El Paso and is a first generation UTEP graduate, having received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Anaya graduated cum laude.
Previously, he served as an undergraduate assistant in the UTEP Recreational Sports Department. Daniel is an avid golfer and traveler.
